How to Properly Store Your AZFogFactory Fluids
For the longest shelf life and best performance, always store your AZFogFactory fluids in their original containers with the caps tightly sealed. Keep them in a cool, dark place, such as a cabinet or storage room, away from direct heat or sunlight.
Water-based fog and haze fluids should never be stored in hot environments. Excessive heat accelerates fluid degradation and causes the blend to spoil more quickly. Cooler temperatures significantly slow this process and help maintain the quality and consistency of your fluids over time.

Why Our Fluids Are 100% Glycerin-Free
1. Glycerin is too thick for many machines. Glycerin is a heavy molecule, which makes it a very thick (viscous) ingredient. When it’s added to fog or haze fluids, it increases the overall thickness of the blend. Many smaller or budget fog machines struggle to pull these thicker fluids through their feeder tubes, leading to weak output or flow issues and ultimatly fluid pump issues or even failures.
2. Glycerin doesn’t vaporize cleanly. Glycerin has a significantly higher boiling point than the glycols used in high-quality fog fluids. Most fog and haze machines aren’t designed to reach those higher temperatures, so glycerin often doesn’t fully vaporize. This results in “wet fog,” which can:
Leave a slippery residue on floors
Be pulled into fans, amplifiers, controllers, and sensitive electronics
Create buildup inside equipment
Make a mess and increase maintenance needs
3. It causes internal buildup and clogs Because glycerin doesn’t fully vaporize, it begins to collect inside the machine’s heating chamber. Over time, it becomes sticky, gooey, and eventually leads to clogs that require costly cleaning or repairs.
4. Why its commonly used in cheap fluids. Glycerin is the main ingredient in many low-quality, bargain fog and haze fluids because bottom line its cheap and lessons the cost for manufacturers looking to increase their profits at your expense. If the price looks too good to be true, the blend likely contains a high amount of glycerin. You get left with all the problems that come with it. Don't fall into the trap of "all fog and haze fluids are the same," its simply not an accurate statement. Keep in mind, you are sacrificing the durability of the machine you spent good money on to save a few bucks not using a premium quality fluid. Trust us, your machine will thank you.

No. The color used in AZ Fog Factory fluids is only a light identification tint, not a heavy dye load. We use highly concentrated colorants in extremely small amounts, just enough to help identify each fluid by color.
Because the tint level is so minimal, it does not add meaningful clogging potential to your fog or haze machine. The color system is there to make product identification easier, not to change the performance of the fluid.
